2021
The Dynasty Begins
The inaugural Seatown Shogun season. Levi won the first league championship, while Grant became the league’s first last-place finisher and completed the inaugural Paqui One Chip punishment.
2022
Competitive Standards Take Shape
The league began formalizing several of its core competitive rules. Major changes included reducing the quarterback roster limit from five to three, establishing the current $900 / $200 / $100 payout structure, and adopting the lineup-integrity rule requiring managers to field active and competitive lineups each week.
2023
Lottery, Taxi and Punishment Rules Expand
The first four draft positions became lottery selections weighted by maximum possible points, taxi-squad graduation announcements became mandatory, and offseason roster-management rules were clarified.
The league also introduced the under-70-point beer penalty and established a deadline requiring last-place punishments to be completed before the NFL Draft or risk forfeiting a draft pick.
2024
The League Plans for Expansion
The league approved adding an additional flex starter beginning with the 2026 season. Other changes included negative points for missed field goals, negative D/ST scoring based on points allowed, the winning-record upset apology video, and the Week 18 odd-versus-even Pro Bowl.
The league also adopted the rule preventing failed proposals from being immediately brought back for another vote the following season.
2025
Major Changes for the Future
The 2025 rules meeting produced several changes that shaped the current league. The league approved full PPR beginning in 2027, changed sacks to one point, adopted fractional field-goal scoring, added bonuses for 20+ yard rushing plays and 40+ yard receptions, limited the draft lottery to the first round, and created the consolation-bracket 2.13 pick.
The league also added the 50-point team-naming rule and several new traditions and awards.
2026
Expanded Lineups Arrive
The previously approved lineup expansion takes effect. Teams now start 11 players, including two RB/WR/TE flex positions, while maintaining a 24-player active roster and two taxi spots.
The league remains half PPR for 2026 before transitioning to full PPR in 2027.

Paqui One Chip Challenge at Green Lake
Tyler completed the Paqui One Chip Challenge while pitch-and-putting at Green Lake. Matt won the round of golf, Tyler persevered through the entire nine holes, and he did not feel well that evening.
24-Hour Waffle Challenge
Steve showed up and ordered pancakes instead of waffles. He ate several pancakes, panicked, and realized he couldn’t finish the challenge. He then tried to trade his No. 1 pick to a few league members sitting with him at the diner rather than lose it for failing to complete the punishment.
The league collectively freaked out that he was both quitting the punishment and trying to skirt the consequence for doing so. Steve was eventually allowed to keep his pick. He is now held up as an example of what happens when you bitch out on your punishment, use the first overall pick on a can’t-miss receiver, and then watch that receiver become a complete bust — at least in relative terms.
Hotdog Hoedown
Joey needed to drink beer and eat hot dogs while bowling in order to lower a target score from 300 to something reasonably achievable, then bowl a game and reach the reduced score.
Joey brought Vienna sausages instead of hot dogs, got shit-faced on rum the day before his anniversary, tried his best to bowl, and ultimately got in trouble with his wife for being hung over on their anniversary.
The league considered the punishment fair and just.
Hot Ones Hot Wing Challenge
Matt completed the Hot Ones challenge like a true last-place champion, eating every wing with every sauce and then doing two additional wings at the spiciest level.
The goal was to set the standard for how last-place punishments should be conducted and to please the fantasy gods so that his 1.01 selection of Jeremiyah Love would become a complete stud in every possible way.
